Live Event Bottle Painting at Duty Free Shop

I often wonder, "Is this even work?"

In my work as a live event bottle painter and engraver, I have the privilege of crafting one-of-a-kind, personalized perfume bottles for customers at the Duty Free Shop at the Honolulu Airport. It’s one of my favorite places to be at and here’s why:

Every day, as I step into the Honolulu Airport, I navigate through security, and set up my painting and engraving station. I'm greeted by the colorful array of paints and delicate tools meticulously laid out, anticipating the choices of customers eager to have their perfume bottles personalized. As the day unfolds, I engage with people from various corners of the world, each possessing their unique tastes and preferences.

What truly excites me is the instant when a customer lays eyes on their personalized perfume bottle for the very first time. Witnessing their faces light up with astonishment and delight is a priceless experience. Knowing that I've crafted something destined to be treasured for years to come fills me with an immeasurable sense of satisfaction. It's moments like these that make my work a true passion.

The art of painting and engraving perfume bottles is a delicate one. Each bottle undergoes inspection and cleansing to ensure the paint adheres flawlessly. Once the bottle is prepared, I start the intricate work of the chosen design.

Some opt for bold, vibrant colors, while others lean towards intricate, delicate engravings. Regardless of the design, I always ensure that each bottle is completed within 5-15 minutes. After all, everyone has a flight to catch!

As I pretty up these pieces, I can't help but contemplate the remarkable journey each bottle will embark upon. From Hawaii to a customer's home across the world, these bottles become cherished parts of people's lives. It's a privilege to play a small but meaningful role in this remarkable journey.

My work at the Duty Free Shop at the Honolulu Airport has been nothing short of incredible. I consider myself immensely fortunate to be able to pursue my passion and bring a touch of joy to the lives of those I encounter.

So, should you ever find yourself passing through the airport, don’t forget to drop by and say hello. I'd love to create a personalized perfume bottle that's uniquely yours

Happy painting!
